What every subscription includes

All three buy the same app. Nothing is held back from the cheaper one; the only difference between them is how often you are billed. Every price above buys all of this.

  Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks with the time you ate them, each item in grams with its protein, fat and carbs. Eaten, exercise and goal are totalled at the top, and going over is met with a sentence rather than a scolding.

  26 nutrients, not just calories

  Sodium, potassium, calcium, iron, magnesium, zinc and the rest, each against its own daily target, tracked from the same USDA rows your meals came from. Vitamins follow the minerals on the same screen.

  Statistics that admit their limits

  Intake, hydration and micronutrient adequacy over a day, a week, a fortnight or a month. Where a stretch is too short to judge a nutrient, the app labels the reading low confidence and names the nutrients it left out instead of quietly averaging them in.

  Weight, with the trend line

  Log your weight or let Apple Health supply it, and see the trend rather than the noise of a single morning. Reading from Apple Health is optional and read-only.

  A streak for showing up

  Counts the days you logged, not the days you were perfect. Today is marked safe once you have logged, and the month view shows the run behind you.

• 13,349 USDA foods on the phone, searchable with no signal at all
• 35,840 measured portions, so “1 cup” resolves to an actual weight

• Optional, read-only Apple Health access for weight and active energy
• Export your whole diary as JSON, or erase all of it, from inside the app

How you subscribe, and who takes the payment

Epioneum is an iPhone app, sold only through the Apple App Store. You choose a subscription inside the app and Apple takes the payment, so the charge appears on your Apple Account rather than from us. Epioneum LLP publishes the app and sets the price; Apple is the merchant of record for the transaction itself. We never see or store your card details.

Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. You can cancel at any time from iOS Settings, and you keep access until the period you have already paid for runs out. Cancelling, refunds and what happens to your data afterwards are all set out in the Refund & Cancellation Policy, and the contract terms are in the Terms of Service.

Availability

Epioneum LLP was formed to develop and publish iPhone applications, and Epioneum is the company’s first one. The App Store is the only place it is sold: there is no separate web checkout, and this site never takes a payment.

The app has not been released yet. It is in the last stages of work before App Store review, and the prices above are the ones set for launch. Until it clears review there is no way to buy it, and this page does not pretend otherwise. The download link appears here and on the home page the day it goes live.
